5 P's of Marketing: What Are They And Why Do They Matter?
STARTUP SUCCESS DAY
I help coaches & consultants attract paying customers using SEO content marketing.
Position yourself as an expert from the start.
You’re not ready to hire a marketing expert for $10K a month but trying to do everything on your own is giving you heart palpitations. You’re prepared to balance your start-up budget with going DIY but you’re not sure what to prioritize.
Should you be investing in a killer website or should you spend the budget you do have on getting the word out?
Is it a mistake skipping out on SEO while you’re just getting started?
Does your Instagram account really need to be updated every single day?
How do you extend your reach beyond your family and friends?
What the hell is a Facebook pixel?
Pssst... I know what your ideal clients are typing into Google.
Let's use that insider knowledge to build killer content that drives them straight to your offer.
PHASE ONE: Targeting
Every content asset is built on a strong keyword strategy.
In a 30-minute session, we pinpoint how we can use your ideal avatar/s to theme your blog posts. We discuss the problems and solutions they are searching for to determine the direction of each post. After the call, I get to work identifying the terms your avatars are searching for. I use the best SEO tools in the business to discover the terms your competitors missed. Finally, I come back with a custom SEO strategy to reel in your target audience with their favorite flavor of bait.
PHASE TWO: Content Creation
Content that positions you as an expert.
During this stage, you can sit back and relax while I whip up 1,200+ words of content created specifically for your ideal avatar.
By this point, I've already studied your brand voice and audience well enough to channel your brand voice and speak their language. This all happens long before our first session.
The goal of each content asset is to build trust so when visitors are redirected to your offer, they are already primed for the "Yes!"
PHASE THREE: The Optimization
Content that is optimized in all the right places.
I handle the technical details that are necessary to outperform your competitors. After 7 years in the game and thousands of dollars invested in SEO software and training, getting you on Google is the easy part. I don't try to "trick" the Google algorithm. I work with it to make sure the right people have eyes on your content.
✨ BONUS #1: Social Media Content Planner ✨
SEO doesn't work its magic overnight. While Google crawls in the background, I will share a 30-minute video that shows you how you can repurpose your new content assets to create powerful social media content. That way, you can start pulling in new traffic from day one and stop fretting over what to post on your socials.
✨ BONUS #2: Track Your Progress ✨
I’ll show you how to monitor your site traffic using Google Search Console so you can see how your content is performing and where your new articles are ranking. You can use this data to predict your growth and scale accordingly. High-quality blog posts tend to perform better and better over time.

What exactly does a copywriter do?To put it simply, copywriting is persuasive writing. Copywriters write copy that translates an idea or a brand into something that people want to invest in. Some copywriters work well with algorithms to write persuasive content that ranks on Google. Other forms of copywriting include email marketing, Facebook ads, flyers, TV advertising, landing pages, billboards - the list goes on. If you read something that made you want to buy something, it was probably the work of a copywriter.
-
What is the difference between a content writer and a copywriter? The difference between content writing and copywriting comes down to purpose. The former tells a story that provides value to the reader, usually in the form of education or entertainment. Copywriting is the art of persuading people to invest in an idea, brand, or service. The difference is that copywriting is copy writing and copy is content that advertises.

What is SEO and why is it important?SEO stands for search engine optimization. It is a strategy that some copywriters employ to get websites ranking on Google. There are many factors that contribute to a first or second page ranking. One of the most important factors is keyword inclusion. When you hire me to do your SEO, I research what words and phrases people are searching for when they land on your competitor website. I then choose keywords with high search volume and low competition and develop a strategy to include these words on your website. When I ran analysis on this article, I discovered that I needed to use the word "copywriting" 19 times to get on top of my target SERPs. I also found 30+ other keywords to work into my copy. Working these keywords into content in a way that does not negatively impact reading experience is the talent of copywriters that handle both the SEO side and the creative side of the job.

I have a business model but I'm starting from scratch. Can you still help with marketing? If you are looking for a person who can take your ideas and turn them into a new brand for people to go bananas over, I want to work with you. Brand building is one of the most exciting and rewarding types of work a creative copywriter like myself can do. When you are starting from scratch, I will work closely with you to understand your brand vision and marketing goals. I will then advise you on how to make the most of your marketing budget and develop a short-term and long-term strategy for achieving those goals. My job will be to translate the vision in your head into something that turns your target audience into loyal customers. When the job is done, you'll want me working with you on your next new project too.
-
Are you still accepting new clients?Yes - I am currently accepting new clients! I don't accept every client that sends me an email. This is because I want to be confident that my time and work will actually be valuable to your business. Occasionally, new clients approach me with niches that I have no experience writing in. I am part of a network of talented freelancers and if I don't feel I am the right person for the job, I will connect you with a person that is.
-
How can you help me with social media? When people approach me for social media guidance, they tend to be looking for a marketing solution that saves them time and/or money. If it's time you're looking to save, I will manage your social media posts so that you don't have to. If your budget is your concern, I will create a personalized strategy for you so you can create the posts yourself and save money on outsourcing. I will give you hashtags, teach you how to create content of value, and give you handy information on your competitors. By learning how to use social media for business effectively, this will also save you time in the longrun.
-
I'm on a tight budget but I need results. Is now the time to collaborate?I create my price quotes on a case by case basis and I am always available for a free consultation. If you are on a budget but want to get the ball rolling, get in touch and I will give you advice on simple changes you can make yourself to increase your sales. When the ball is rolling and you want to spend less time working on marketing, perhaps we can work together then. There's no pressure either way. I respond to every email I get from people asking for advice, even when there's no job at the end of it.

How do I become a freelance copywriter with no experience? So you want to become a freelance copywriter? Good for you! The world of copywriting is an exciting place where you can turn your talent for writing into a tool for helping people succeed in their own businesses. Here are a couple of copywriting sites I recommend for learning the ropes before you land your first copywriting job: https://copyhackers.com/ https://neilpatel.com/ https://www.splashcopywriters.com/ https://www.aptcontent.net/blog When I was starting out, I started collecting ads that inspired me. Six years on, I still do this now. Keep your eyes open to effective advertising and pay attention to how copywriters achieve these effects. Subscribe to Neil Patel's email list, work on your writing every chance you get, and most importantly - believe in yourself.
